Moving around San Teodoro without a car
Traveling without a car? No problem!
If you have planned (or are planning) your holiday in San Teodoro but you don't want or can't bring your car, we have some useful tips for you.
Getting around San Teodoro
Our apartments are all located in San Teodoro, between La Cinta beach and the center, so getting around on foot is quite comfortable. If you don't want to walk or want to reach the beaches farthest from the town, in San Teodoro there are numerous bike or car rentals; we strongly advise you to book this service as soon as possible due to the great demand in the central months of the summer season.
If, on the other hand, you don't want to rent a vehicle, or take advantage of one of the NCC companies, we recommend an excellent service that connects the center of San Teodoro with the main beaches of San Teodoro.
For the whole summer 2022 the Beach Bus shuttle service allows you to reach the beaches of La Cinta, Lu Impostu, Cala Brandinchi, Cala Suaraccia, Salina Bamba and Porto Coda Cavallo.
Stops are planned near the beaches and in the main streets of the town (mainly in via Sardegna, Via Gramsci, Via Nazionale).
From July 5th to October 5th, a FREE tourist bus service is also active, called San Teodoro Express, which connects the center with La Cinta beach and the hamlets (by reservation).

For all information and rates, we refer you to the website of the Tueco company that manages the service https://tuecoviaggi.com/beach-bus
Getting to San Teodoro from Olbia port or airport

Getting to San Teodoro from Olbia port or airport
San Teodoro is located just 30km away from Olbia and there are various alternatives to get there from the airport or port.
- The cheapest one is definitely to use the public transport company ARST; find here the timetable of the line that starts from the port of Olbia Isola Bianca up to San Teodoro (with terminus Nuoro). Alternatively, you can also check Deplano or Nordorientale companies.
- A more comfortable but still economical solution is the shuttle bus of Tueco company, which with the bus sharing service allows you to travel from Olbia to San Teodoro with only € 10.00 per person per way. This service works on reservation and on pre-established stops: just go to the company's website (click here) and choose the stop, date, time and number of passengers. Booking and payment are quick and easy (we advise you to book in advance). For further information go to the company's website by clicking here.
- Another alternative to reach San Teodoro is to rely on a NCC (private transfer service); this is certainly the most convenient solution. The driver will wait for you upon arrival at the port or airport and will accompany you directly to the apartment address. The reservation is made by us; all you have to do is give us your flight or ship details and we will book the car for you. Payment will be made directly by you to the driver.
- If, on the other hand, you want to be totally independent, book a rental car to be picked up at the port, airport or in San Teodoro. This alternative is certainly perfect for those who want to tour independently and explore our region.
- The last solution that we list is the taxi; at the exit of the airport or port you can find taxi drivers who will accompany you to the address you indicated. It is probably the most last minute and least economical alternative; pay attention to the rates, especially if you travel at night and with luggage!
